Every surgeon on our team is board-certified by the Mexican Council of General Surgery with subspecialty fellowship training in bariatric and metabolic surgery. We list their credentials, training, and volume — not testimonials.
We believe you should know exactly who will perform your procedure, where they trained, and how many surgeries they've performed. These profiles are illustrative for the demo — actual surgeon profiles are provided upon consultation.
The Consejo Mexicano de Cirugía General requires written and oral examinations, case volume documentation, and peer review. It's the Mexican equivalent of American Board of Surgery certification — and is recognized internationally.
An additional 1–2 year program after general surgery residency, focused exclusively on minimally invasive and bariatric procedures. Not all general surgeons who perform bariatric surgery have one — ours do.
Outcomes in bariatric surgery correlate strongly with surgeon and hospital volume. A surgeon who performs 50+ bariatric procedures per year has meaningfully better outcomes than one who does 10. We will always give you this number.

Surgery takes 90 minutes. The journey takes a year. These are the people who walk it with you.
Bilingual (English/Spanish). Your first point of contact, and your main communication channel throughout. They handle logistics, answer questions, and make sure you never feel stranded — before, during, or after your stay.
Specialized in post-bariatric nutrition. They design your pre-op diet, run your post-op protocol, and are available via video for your 12-month follow-up visits. The nutritional phase is where most patients struggle — and where we invest most.
Board-certified anesthesiologists specialized in bariatric patients. Obese patients have specific anesthesia considerations — airway management, dosing by lean body weight, positioning. This is not a general OR team.
In-hospital staff who manage your discharge documentation, coordinate with your US physician, and prepare the full discharge summary you'll share with your primary care team at home.
